Electrical Engineer Level 3 or 4 Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Los Alamos National Laboratory. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our facilities, working closely with our engineering team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems for our facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Work closely with our engineering team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical design and development, with a focus on power systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, including circuit analysis, power systems, and control systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including OSHA and NFPA.
