Job Overview

Commercial Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. As a Fire Extinguisher Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and installation of fire extinguishers and emergency lighting for our established customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and maintenance on fire extinguishers and emergency lighting
  • Complete all inspection and service paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs necessary
  • Maintain truck stock quantities of equipment and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Level 1 Fire Extinguisher license from the state of CA
  • Valid current driver's license with clean driving history
  • Highly proactive and self-driven individual
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
