Job Overview

United Legwear & Apparel Company is seeking a highly skilled Associate Planner to join our team in New York City. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for creating sales plans, managing inventory, analyzing sales trends, and submitting monthly budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales plans across multiple brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with wholesale sales teams to evaluate sales history and develop strategic plans.
  • Reforecast sales, margin, receipts, and inventory on a monthly basis, or as needed, to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage and control inventory stock levels and receipts to ensure adequate supply to meet sales plans.
  • Identify and mitigate inventory risks and opportunities, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor open orders versus sales plan and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, and 2+ years of experience in a planning or buying role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills and experience with planning tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
What We Offer

United Legwear & Apparel Company offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
