Job Summary

Pereira O'Dell is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Media Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Connections Planning team, you will work closely with our clients to develop and execute strategic media plans that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Planning: Assist in the development of cross-channel media plans that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Platform Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of various media platforms and tools, including research and planning processes.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the development and execution of contracts and insertion orders with extreme attention to detail.
  • Publisher Engagement: Engage with publishers to obtain media kits and rates necessary for strategy development.
  • Plan Execution: Collaborate with the planning team to execute media plans, including RFP process, plan development, and measurement plan execution.
  • Tracking and Reconciliation: Manage the tracking of account spending and collaborate with Finance to maintain up-to-date billing trackers.
  • Plan Optimization: Develop and present plan optimization recommendations based on insights and data analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in marketing, communication strategy, or media planning (internships or full-time roles).
  • Skills: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities; self-starter, solutions-oriented; strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once.
