Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Reservations Agent to join our team. As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of in-house reservations through the selling of guest rooms and maximization of revenues.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer all reservations calls and e-mails in a friendly manner, using clear English communication. Provide accurate information regarding availability of accommodations and other requested information.
- Assist with group blocks, including communicating with internal/external clients, inputting of reservations, and distributing of resumes. Monitor group blocks and group billing.
- Assist HRCC with questions, problems, or concerns that arise concerning reservations made at the hotel.
- Maintain suite reservation request process and inventory controls for all suites and other room accommodations, as needed, to maximize revenue and meet customer needs.
- Review advance deposit reservations and make corrections as needed.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year of prior hotel experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- OnQ experience is preferred
