Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Educational Outreach and Support Coordinator to join our team at the University of Oklahoma. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the success of our students and the university as a whole.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day office management, including supervising and coordinating student employees and peer educators.
  • Coordinate clerical office duties and support, including ordering supplies, handling cash, and reconciling conduct administrative fees.
  • Provide clerical support for departmental hiring, trainings, and system access for new hires.
  • Facilitate training and outreach services for OU community members, including workshops, seminars, and classes.
  • Serve as a university hearing officer and liaison to University departments.
  • Maintain and monitor the Student Conduct database system.
  • Assist with planning, development, and implementation of designated student programs and services.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop targeted programs and services for students.
  • Oversee record maintenance, including student files, inventory, and other office files.
  • Assist with development and administration of office policies and procedures.
  • Research, collect, and analyze data or information, and prepare reports or responses to inquiries.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 12 months of office, clerical, or administrative experience.
  • Working knowledge of office procedures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Ability to work as a team member, complete tasks efficiently, and multitask.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in higher education administration or its equivalence.
  • Experience working with a university information management system.
  • Ability to communicate directions and expectations effectively.
  • Superior, balanced judgment with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally and appropriately.
