About the Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Support Provider to join our team at the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. As a Family Support Provider, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and advocacy for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families involved in the Children's Department.

Responsibilities will include providing outreach to new referrals, educating families about resources in the community, and collaborating with the behavioral health team to ensure comprehensive care. Job Requirements
  • A high school diploma plus 30 hours of college or university study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of experience as a parent or guardian to a child who was involved in services, either mental health services or substance abuse services, or have been involved with child welfare or other service agencies.
  • Ability to fulfill job-related travel and have a valid driver's license.
