This position will play a pivotal role in overseeing the readiness of our internal manufacturing site, focusing on capital expenditure management related to equipment acquisition, qualification, and associated timelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with and may lead a diverse team to develop and present materials for senior leadership review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support Capital Expenditure initiatives to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, timely execution of budget plans, and prompt resolution of budget modifications.
- Assist in securing funding for interdepartmental budget proposals.
- Facilitate communication across various functional teams to ensure alignment and prioritization of projects.
- Present incoming requests along with their potential impacts and justifications to leadership for evaluation and prioritization.
- Work closely with the Operational Readiness Team to assess requests and summarize their potential effects on project timelines.
- Document and drive decisions regarding project prioritization and initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects across various sites, applying industry best practices.
- Perform additional duties and projects as required to fulfill departmental objectives.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of workflows related to facility modification projects, both large and small scale.
- Proficient in project management tools, including schedule and budget oversight, with a solid grasp of finance and accounting principles.
- Exceptional ability to drive project goals and effectively advance initiatives.
- Strong interest in developing processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of conveying complex ideas across various project boundaries and influencing stakeholders.
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment, including the capacity to influence business leaders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and presentation, particularly using Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
