About the Role:We're seeking a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in contract negotiation and compliance. As a key member of our legal team, you'll be responsible for reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and maintaining knowledge of our contracting standards and data privacy and security frameworks. You'll also collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and contribute to the development of contract templates and playbooks.
Responsibilities:- QA Contracts: Review, fact-check, and quality assure contracting work to ensure consistent quality and adherence to company standards
- QA RFPs: Review, fact-check, and quality assure RFPs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper submission
- Draft/Review/Negotiate Contracts: Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts consistent with company standards
- Maintain Company Knowledge: Build and maintain knowledge of our contracting standards, product, and data privacy and security standards
- Complete Legal Projects: Identify and advance legal team projects and initiatives
- Evolving Legal Processes: Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify, incorporate, and initiate process improvements
- Evolving Templates & Playbooks: Contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of contract templates and playbooks
- Maintain Legal Organizational Systems: Provide contract trainings and maintain compliance with data privacy laws
- Law degree and bar certification in good standing from any US state
- At least 10 years of experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- At least 4 years of experience reviewing and negotiating request for proposal terms
- Experience reviewing and negotiating Data Privacy Agreements
