Overview

This role involves the assembly of both new and existing products, leveraging mechanical expertise and precision to optimize packaging systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, test, and prepare packaging systems for distribution to end users, emphasizing quality assurance. This includes production and/or testing of all systems provided by Medical Packaging Inc., whether manufactured in-house or sourced from value-added resellers or integrated systems.
  • Construct subassemblies and complete units based on samples, models, verbal instructions, and/or assembly diagrams.
  • Oversee inventory management.
Qualifications

Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of two years' experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical skills, and quality control expertise are essential.
  • Ability to solder.
  • Must demonstrate organization, reliability, integrity, and dependability.
  • Capable of comprehending and executing instructions conveyed verbally, through drawings, and in written procedures.
  • Excellent manual dexterity is required.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience in machine shop and metalworking is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education and Training
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Technical Degree or Certification is preferred.
Supervisory Role
  • This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • This position is situated in a manufacturing and assembly environment, utilizing shop equipment, power tools, and hand tools. It requires prolonged periods of standing and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Position Type and Work Schedule
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Travel Requirements
  • Local travel may be necessary for pickups and deliveries. A valid driver's license is required.
