Production Assembly Specialist

This role involves the assembly of both new and existing products, leveraging mechanical expertise and precision to optimize packaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and prepare packaging systems for distribution to end users, emphasizing quality assurance. This includes production and/or testing of all systems provided by Medical Packaging Inc., whether manufactured in-house or sourced from value-added resellers or integrated systems.
- Construct subassemblies and complete units based on samples, models, verbal instructions, and/or assembly diagrams.
- Oversee inventory management.
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of two years' experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical skills, and quality control expertise are essential.
- Ability to solder.
- Must demonstrate organization, reliability, integrity, and dependability.
- Capable of comprehending and executing instructions conveyed verbally, through drawings, and in written procedures.
- Excellent manual dexterity is required.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in machine shop and metalworking is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Technical Degree or Certification is preferred.
- This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
- This position is situated in a manufacturing and assembly environment, utilizing shop equipment, power tools, and hand tools. It requires prolonged periods of standing and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Local travel may be necessary for pickups and deliveries. A valid driver's license is required.
