Job Title: Public Relations Coordinator

Morgan Lewis, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of media relations activities. The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers and marketing teams to execute cross-practice campaigns, including theme development, content creation, and dissemination across relevant communication vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in executing profile-raising efforts, including media relations activities to position the firm and lawyers as leaders in their field.
  • Work closely with the PR Manager and other members of the team in the execution of cross-practice campaigns, including theme development, content creation, and dissemination across relevant communication vehicles.
  • Track project schedules, deadlines, and assist in reporting metrics to evaluate the impact of the campaigns.
  • Compose, edit, and formulate communications and conduct competitive intelligence research.
  • Own creation and maintenance of the firm's media lists.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience with at least 1 year of marketing, communications, media relations, or comparable discipline in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and experience excel in highly matrixed work environments working across multiples business units and functional teams.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as manage projects and assignments to effectively prioritize and balance competing demands.
  • Ability to act with a high degree of integrity and maintain confidentiality and superior reasoning skills and sound business judgment.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and social media tools and resources.
