Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects of various sizes, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality standards.
  • Oversee budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards for projects, making informed decisions to drive project success.
  • Develop and implement engineering designs, prepare reports, create plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables, as well as data entry and analysis, to support project progress and completion.
  • Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 6-12 years of relevant experience in water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in California or the ability to obtain within six months.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large-sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and project teams.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
