Responsibilities- Serve as an engineer on the planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of water and wastewater treatment projects of various sizes.
- Perform data entry and analysis, system modeling, process calculations, and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilities.
- Prepare cost estimates, perform permitting and alternatives analysis, and prepare technical memoranda, reports, plans, and specifications.
- Participate in field activities, such as site visits, overseeing field work, and pilot testing.
- Travel may be required.
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.
- EIT Certification or passed FE exam or Registration as a Professional Engineer for higher level engineers.
- Experience delivering and managing water/wastewater treatment projects with partial responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards for higher level engineers.
- Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
- Ability to apply critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Highly motivated and self-starting.
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
