Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Registration Coordinator at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and check-in processes, while providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Check-in: Accurately and efficiently register patients, collect co-pays, and update patient records in a timely manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk registration area, balancing co-pay receipts and money at the end of each day, and running charts that are ready for processing.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide clear and concise communication to patients, staff, and physicians, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Training and Guidance: Offer training and guidance to other registration staff, ensuring consistency and accuracy in patient registration processes.
  • Supervision and Reporting: Report to the Front Desk Supervisor, receiving guidance and support as needed to ensure successful performance in the role.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of registration policies, procedures, and concepts, as well as computer functions, including Microsoft Office and practice management systems.
  • Ability and Experience: Demonstrate the ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, while performing repetitive duties and following established procedures.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in medical office administration or related field preferred.
