Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our Senior Leadership Team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for leading the financial management of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, leadership, and strategic planning, with a passion for making a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Management: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors, providing analysis and recommendations for financial decisions.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership to the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's financial stability and security.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and Feeding America guidelines.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, leadership, and strategic planning.
  • Skills: Strong financial management and leadership skills, with a passion for making a difference in the community.
  • Certifications: CPA or MBA preferred.
