Atlanta, Georgia, United States LHIT Consulting Full time
Job Description

LHIT Consulting is seeking a skilled fiber technician for a long-term engagement in a data center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with single mode and multimode fiber, as well as various fiber terminations (LC, SC, MPO). MPO fiber knowledge is a plus, but can be learned before the start date.

The successful candidate will be able to read a cut sheet/wiring diagram, work well under direction, and possess attention to detail, particularly with cable management. Certifications are a plus, but experience will be accepted in lieu of certifications.

The job requires working 10 hour days, 6 days a week, with PPE required. Travel and accommodations will be covered, and time off will be granted if the engagement extends into the holiday season.

The scope of work involves installing pre-terminated fiber in a data center/warehouse environment, rack to rack and within racks. Secrecy is key, and any public discussion of the project will be grounds for termination.

Pay terms and offers will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
