About the Role

The Guest Service Agent is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. As a representative of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their stay with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register and check-out guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage PBX operations, mail, and message services.
  • Provide accurate and complete information to guests and other departments.
  • Complete daily checklists and ensure all tasks are completed.
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests.
  • Follow established key control policies and ensure proper credit policies are followed.
  • Submit lost and found articles and balance daily shift bank.
  • Monitor room availability and review daily selling status using yield management systems.
  • Communicate with other departments, including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role preferred.
  • Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple arrivals and departures.
  • Familiarity with hotel systems and operations.
