Role Summary:

As a Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive a genuine Hawaiian hospitality experience at both the ticket counter and the boarding gate. The ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication abilities, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess a willingness to assist others.

Interview Process:

The selection process will include:

  • A 20-minute phone interview
  • A 60-minute group video interview
  • A 30-minute final in-person interview at the Hawaiian Airlines office in San Francisco

Compensation and Benefits:

This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement and adheres to the San Francisco Minimum Wage Compensation Ordinance (MCO) and Airport Quality Standards Program (QSP) Compensation and Benefits section. The current compensation for this role is $19.05 per hour, with an additional $9.50 per hour allocated to a medical reimbursement account through the City Option Program.

This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 19 hours per week, with flight benefits available.

Work Schedule:

Work schedules are determined by seniority and operational needs. New employees will be assigned their initial shifts accordingly. The shifts typically range from 4 to 5 days per week, with a minimum of 19 hours. Morning shifts may begin as early as 4:30 AM, while evening shifts may start at 6:30 PM. Although schedules are generally fixed, they may be adjusted throughout the year based on flight operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid U.S. driver's license (no permits or provisional licenses)
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. for guest baggage check-in
  • Flexibility to work any assigned shift
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random testing
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and fingerprinting for airport security clearance
  • No visible body art while in uniform
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination required by training date

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the airline industry
  • Background in customer service within the hospitality sector
