Key Responsibilities:- Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to customers over the phone and in person.
- Announce incoming and outbound flights.
- Handle credit card and personal check transactions with accuracy and process collections.
- Accept and process checked baggage weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Operate jetways to position them for aircraft arrival and departure.
- Use airline computer systems to provide flight information, ticketing, and boarding documents.
- Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality required.
- Entry-level computer skills necessary.
- Occasional lifting of bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
- Pass a post-offer background check, including fingerprinting and a criminal history record check.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
