Job Title: Customer Service Instant Return Representative

At Hertz, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Instant Return Representative. This role is a critical part of our airport location team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients as they return their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service by managing the vehicle return process, ensuring compliance with Hertz's policies and procedures.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Inspect vehicles and record any new damage or major cleaning requirements, completing required documentation.
  • Communication: Clearly explain final charges to customers, secure vehicle keys, and ensure they stay with the vehicle while reminding customers to remove their personal belongings.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the team to drive continuous improvement, communicate customer feedback, and engage in action planning to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to established guidelines for providing best-in-class customer service.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of one year of sales or customer experience in a high-volume or service-oriented environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate in English clearly and proficiently.
  • Teamwork: Proven experience of working well within a team and demonstrating professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and work overtime as required.
