Behavioral Health Specialist

Pursue a challenging role as a Behavioral Health Clinician Licensed at PeaceHealth, a leading healthcare organization. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will coordinate and oversee the plan of care and service delivery for behavioral health consumers across the continuum of illness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, group, and multi-family group therapy to patients with complex diagnostic presentations and treatment needs.
- Lead a team of clinical professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
- Assess, develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive plans of care through an interdisciplinary team process, in conjunction with patients and their self-identified natural supports.
- Evaluate and provide interventions to improve patients' cognitive, social, vocational, spiritual, and emotional functioning, utilizing natural and community supports when possible.
- Respond to urgent/crisis evaluations, interventions, and safety planning, ensuring the well-being of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with patients and natural supports to identify key problems, strengths, and resources to be addressed in the treatment plan.
- May provide case management, coordination with other treatment agencies or outside support services, outreach, and engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Masters' in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- License in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at date of hire.
- Minimum of three years' experience in behavioral health.
- Experience in diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex mental health conditions.
- Experience providing clinical supervision to bachelors' and masters' level clinicians preferred.
