Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the billing team to ensure accurate and timely processing of billing transactions and financial reports.
  • Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to resolve billing issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
  • Train and mentor billing team members, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights into billing operations and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new systems to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, and resolve any billing-related issues.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Billing Supervisor, preferably in a law firm.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal billing procedures and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing a team and driving performance improvement.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to analyze complex financial data and generate accurate reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in billing software and other financial systems.
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
