**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Site Supervisor to join our team at the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading staff and children in a before and after school setting, providing interactive guidance and leadership, and coordinating program activities that promote character development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination: Coordinate site activities according to YMCA guidelines, ensuring all program curriculum and materials are prepared accordingly and accessible.
  • Relationship Building: Build effective relationships with staff, students, and parents, encouraging parent involvement and identifying potential volunteers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records as required, including site checklists, attendance, food service, staff, and student forms.
  • Staff Support: Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled, following all YMCA policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the site is kept organized, reports damaged equipment, and follows emergency and safety procedures.
  • Aquatics Participation: Participate in aquatics activities during out-of-school time, including swimming or deck supervision.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to parents and program participants.
  • Reporting: Assist with monthly statistical reports and participate in bi-monthly Parent Advisory Committees meetings.
  • Site Planning: Schedule and plan site activities that align with the program curriculum.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, organization, initiative, and leadership by example.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Experience: Experience working with children and diverse communities.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $15.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-9:00am and 2:00pm-6:00pm.
