Metal Fabrication Director Job Description

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Director to lead our metal plant fabrication department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for upholding all safety and quality expectations while ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the activities of supervisors, team leaders, and associates to support safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement goals.
  • Collaborate with the director of manufacturing operations to control costs using budgets and cost reduction programs.
  • Meet or exceed corporate goals and expectations.
  • Determine production schedules and estimates work requirements for completion of job assignments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Operations Management or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial operations management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and computerized color analysis.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
