Job Overview

First Media is a leading social media publishing and marketing firm, recognized for its innovative approach at the crossroads of content and commerce. With a robust team and a vast audience, we are dedicated to transforming the landscape of shoppable content.

We are currently in search of a Proposal Writer who possesses a creative and strategic mindset. This role involves collaborating with our Business Development and Executive teams to produce persuasive RFP responses that align with our strategic objectives. Your primary duties will encompass crafting impactful proposals that effectively communicate our unique value proposition to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and develop, edit, and finalize responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Collaborate with department leaders to gather necessary materials and manage the proposal process from start to finish.
  • Review and refine RFPs, ensuring content is accurate, grammatically correct, and meets all specified requirements.
  • Create engaging PowerPoint/Keynote presentations and supplementary materials for client meetings.
  • Revise proposals based on constructive feedback to enhance quality.
  • Facilitate and engage in strategic planning meetings.
  • Participate in preliminary discussions and post-submission evaluations as required.
  • Assist with additional business development and marketing initiatives as necessary.
  • Work alongside the design team to create visuals and graphics for proposals.
  • Present findings and proposals to the executive board.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal coordination or presentation development for consumer-oriented brands, preferably within the social media sector.
  • Proven experience in crafting tailored digital media strategies focused on social media marketing.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Outstanding writing skills with a focus on precision in proofreading.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively.
