Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) team as a Vice President/Director, QIS Structuring. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing systematic investment solutions with a wide range of clients.

Job Description

The QIS Structuring role provides the opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience while working and learning alongside our experienced market professionals. In selecting candidates, we look for well-rounded individuals with a track record of outstanding academic achievement, proven technical and analytical skills, and a diversity of extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the R&D process for new strategy development
  • Implement backtests and technical documentation for various strategies
  • Help scale-up the technology infrastructure - strong programming skills and a quantitative mindset required
  • Asset class expertise - equities, equity derivatives, cross-asset futures; prior experience designing systematic equity vol solutions is highly desirable
  • Technical skills: Python programming, solid experience with SQL and KDB database systems
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in systematic strategies/equity vol solutions preferred
  • Strong research abilities and excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
  • Extremely motivated and able to take initiative to identify ways to add value and improve practices
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, business sense, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in high-pressure environments
  • Programming - strong Python experience required; database skills: SQL, KDB
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The good-faith expected salary range for this position is $225,000 - $300,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
