We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Vice President of Alternative Investment Solutions. This role will focus on the client coverage aspect of our business, working closely with external managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to drive growth and innovation in the alternative investment space.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and manage relationships with external managers, including new product development and coordination of external sales professionals.
- Source and originate new alternative investment offerings to meet client demand and address current market opportunities.
- Serve as an alternative investment strategist, providing insight to clients and internal stakeholders on current private market trends and opportunities.
- Help develop and implement sales strategies across client segments, advising on growth strategies for new offerings and solutions.
- Lead client portfolio reviews, including alternative portfolio analysis and implementation guidance.
- Drive education of alternative investment themes and portfolio implementation for all client segments and regions.
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments.
- 5+ years experience in asset management, private equity, or hedge funds.
- Prior experience in sales of alternative investment products, either at another private bank or to private banking clients preferred.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sophisticated and tactful client manager who can effectively manage the entire investor lifecycle.
- Strong ability to multi-task, with an ability to manage multiple projects with different deadlines.
- Self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment and across group functions.
- Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail.
