We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Investment Strategy at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior portfolio managers with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and the development of model portfolios.
- Ensure that portfolio construction aligns with client objectives while effectively managing associated risks.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline. The employer will consider a combination of degrees, certificates, and/or professional experience equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree as assessed by a qualified credential evaluation service.
Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related field, with specific expertise in:
- Analyzing and monitoring fixed income securities and portfolios across diverse strategies and client types.
- Assessing Product Valuation and Bond Characteristics, identifying significant deviations from benchmarks and positioning discrepancies.
Furthermore, candidates must have at least one (1) year of experience in:
- Evaluating the influence of macroeconomic conditions on portfolio positioning and performance.
- Understanding how client guidelines and constraints affect the management of Fixed Income portfolios and recommending appropriate proxy trades.
- Conducting risk assessments to evaluate the impact of client guidelines on asset allocation and risk profiles.
Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $174,000 to $290,000. Eligible employees may also receive a discretionary bonus based on fiscal year-end performance.
