Michaels Stores is seeking a Service Team Member to join our team. As a Service Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers shop our store, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help customers locate products and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments as needed.
  • Educate customers on our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and encourage feedback.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes to maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
  • Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery.
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
Requirements
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Work Environment

Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
