As an Installation Project Specialist, you will be responsible for managing ongoing installation jobs, including tracking and ordering parts, monitoring parts inventory, managing receivables, and jobsite planning with foremen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage checklists for ongoing jobs, including outside purchases
  • Conduct onsite customer visits for planning and coordination
  • Maintain all paperwork for ongoing jobs, including submittals and reports
  • Manage receivables for ongoing jobs, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any issues
  • Monitor and maintain parts inventory, including trailer stock, warehouse inventory, and parts transfers in FieldServio
  • Manage incoming orders, pulling parts from inventory, maintaining inventory levels, ordering outside parts, and staging for upcoming jobs
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including report management, submittals, and purchase orders
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations, including totaling work orders, compressed air formulas, and managing financials and tracking profit on existing jobs
  • Communicate regularly with the team regarding the status of new and ongoing projects
  • Provide counter sales support for parts and accessories
  • Perform take-offs on drawings to create parts lists for contractors and estimators
  • Maintain strong working relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Attend construction meetings as scheduled
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents and assist with subcontract documents and purchase orders
  • Working knowledge of compressed air systems and its components, including mechanical operation, associated hazards, and proper usage
  • Ability to interpret schematics and operational manuals for practical application on repair and maintenance tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet customer-initiated deadlines
  • Working knowledge of fundamental mathematical operations
  • Skilled usage of mechanical tools utilized to repair and maintain compressed air systems and their components
  • Ability to perform duties in non-climate-controlled environments, including outdoor weather conditions and non-weather-related wet, humid, and/or extreme heat conditions
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, listening, and writing in a clear, thorough, and timely manner
  • Foster teamwork by working cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Organize and prioritize tasks, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track information and activities
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solve problems by assessing situations, gathering and processing relevant information, generating possible solutions, and making recommendations and/or resolving the problem
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction from management
  • Position requires extended periods of standing, sitting, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle, and feel often in repetitive motion
  • Requires the ability to speak in a manner that conveys detailed or important instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Ability to hear by receiving detailed verbal information or by making distinction in sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
  • Computer literacy in MS Office products
  • High School or equivalent (GED)
  • 3 to 5 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience
