We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at CoBank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing significant account relationships with existing and prospective customers in assigned markets and/or industry segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing and account servicing plans to capitalize on marketing opportunities within assigned segments.
  • Work independently to develop new business and manage existing portfolios, mentoring and providing guidance to junior-level staff as needed.
  • Support the achievement of profitability and credit goals for the division through day-to-day management of account relationships.
  • Independently manage the day-to-day customer relationship of complex, highly visible accounts, meeting regularly with customers to gather information on their businesses, needs, strategic direction, and earnings.
  • Cross-market CoBank products and services to meet goals for assigned accounts, developing and implementing plans to capitalize on marketing opportunities.
  • Guide the development and analysis of financial data for new or renewed financing arrangements, recommending decisions on loan terms and loan servicing actions within approved limits on assigned accounts.
  • Manage to profitability and credit quality targets for portfolio, guiding credit analysis area in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans.
  • Prudently service accounts to protect CoBank and minimize losses, maintaining expertise in a designated market/industry segment and keeping abreast of industry trends, technology, regulatory requirements, and the competitive environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant discipline required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience required, preferably in banking, financial services, or agriculture.
