POSITION SUMMARY

At Levi Strauss & Co., we pride ourselves on our legacy of innovation and sustainability. As a key member of our management team, the Retail Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in shaping the store's success through effective leadership and strategic planning.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS STRATEGY

  • Exhibit strong business insight; align with organizational goals and collaborate with the Store Manager to prioritize initiatives that reflect our company values.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to craft and adapt business strategies, ensuring clear communication of objectives to the team while monitoring performance to achieve or surpass sales targets.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

  • Lead the onboarding and training of new team members, instilling the LS&CO culture, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
  • Assist the Store Manager in implementing performance management practices, fostering an environment that promotes engagement and talent retention.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for team members, providing input on hiring decisions.

RESULTS ORIENTATION

  • Ensure compliance with all Levi's Stores policies and procedures.
  • Take accountability for operational outcomes, including payroll management, cash handling, and inventory oversight.
  • Guide the merchandising team to uphold visual presentation standards, ensuring a pristine shopping environment.
  • Oversee store opening and closing tasks, including cash register management and securing the premises.

LEADERSHIP

  • Embrace and promote new technologies and policies introduced in the store.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team to align on business strategies and foster a culture of engagement.
  • Supervise the store team in the absence of other management members.

CUSTOMER FOCUS

  • Deliver an engaging shopping experience by modeling exemplary service behaviors and coaching team members on sales techniques.
  • Address customer concerns proactively, ensuring satisfaction while adhering to company policies.

AGILITY

  • Maintain the store's aesthetic and safety standards through collaboration with corporate resources.
  • Ensure timely completion of store tasks, actively participating and guiding team members as needed.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Thrives in a dynamic environment, adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.

  • Possesses a self-motivated attitude with a desire for continuous learning and adaptability.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Capable of performing essential job functions, including lifting up to 40 pounds and engaging in various physical activities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail leadership experience, demonstrating skills in supervision, coaching, and training.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
