Job Overview:
As an Industrial Power Generation Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales of industrial power generation systems, focusing on generators from top manufacturers such as Generac, CAT, Cummins, and Kohler. Your role will involve understanding customer requirements, providing tailored solutions, and fostering strong relationships with clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for industrial power generation systems, particularly generators from leading brands.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
    • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable generator solutions to meet their power requirements.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to customer specifications.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, including construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and data centers.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process and beyond.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales or upgrades.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy:
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns and promotional initiatives.
    • Stay updated on industry developments, product innovations, and advancements in generator technology.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of industrial power generation systems, particularly generators from major brands.
    • Understand the technical specifications, features, and benefits of various generator models and effectively communicate these to customers.
    • Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate product selection and configuration for customer applications.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transaction details in the company's CRM system.
    • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries for management review.
    • Ensure all sales documentation, including proposals, contracts, and purchase orders, is complete and compliant with company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:
    • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably within the power generation sector.
    • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills:
