Your Key Responsibilities- Evaluate system architectures to select the best alternative that meets stakeholder and system requirements.
- Contribute to the development and management of system requirements based on stakeholder needs.
- Develop a technical solution that meets requirements and complies with state-of-the-art standards based on domain expertise.
- Collaborate with internal and external development partners to exchange information and contribute to system element development.
- Apply system development processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of applicable engineering experience.
- Experience in functional safety of mechatronic systems.
- Experience in risk analysis and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
- Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer.
- Understanding of modeling and simulating electric or mechatronic systems.
- Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions.
- Experience in solving engineering problems.
- Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $120,000.
- Hiring bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days.
