Job Overview

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and promotion of Burndy products through distribution to end-users and specifying influences within a designated territory. The territory covers Northern California, including the greater Fresno, Bakersfield, Central Valley, and Paso Robles areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sales calls on distributors and potential users of Burndy products to ensure effective sales strategies and maximize sales potential.
  • Train distributor personnel to sell and promote Hubbell products, manage distributor inventory, and maintain proper inventories to service the trading area.
  • Maintain accurate account records and conduct sales training, internal and external, within the district and region as directed by field management.
  • Communicate with distributors and end-users through various channels, including formal sales presentations, letters, telephone calls, and trade shows.
  • Build strong relationships with distribution, end-users, and specifying influences to drive sales and promote Burndy products.
Requirements
  • College degree required and 3+ years of related industry sales experience, or a high school diploma with 5+ years of related industry sales experience.
  • Contractor sales experience is a plus.
  • Industry experience required.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
