Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments to determine patient needs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health.
  • Strong communication abilities to handle complex situations proficiently.
  • Knowledge of DSM5, ICD10, and interqual/MCG guidelines.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in assessments.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in crisis or emergency services within a behavioral health context.
  • Awareness of patient rights and mental health legislation.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
  • Valid driver's license in the State of Illinois (if applicable).
  • CPI certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross within 90 days of employment.
