Position Overview:
The Lead Site Reliability Engineer will spearhead a dynamic team of SREs and DevOps Engineers, overseeing a diverse array of Cloud Services.

Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal leader, you will guide the transition towards a highly automated, fully instrumented, self-scaling, self-healing, and loosely coupled systems architecture.

Core Duties Include:
- Standardizing and modernizing Amazon EKS platforms and AWS Serverless Suites, incorporating cutting-edge managed services from AWS.
- Providing hands-on expertise in implementing large-scale, mission-critical Kubernetes workloads with high resiliency and multi-region architecture.
- Mentoring a team of 2-5 Site Reliability Engineers.
- Promoting accountability and responsibility through actions and thoughts.
- Quickly prioritizing and realigning tasks to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Maximizing automation to enhance speed and quality while minimizing low-value, repetitive tasks in operational activities.
- Collaborating with application delivery teams to design and build scalable and maintainable solutions for clients.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in public cloud, specifically AWS.
- 3+ years of experience leading SRE/DevOps teams within a complex AWS ecosystem.
- Profound understanding of high-velocity SDLC best practices, CI/CD, and application/infrastructure monitoring to operate workloads at scale.

Essential Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53, S3, EC2, Load Balancing, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, Networking, IoT, SQS, EventBridge, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills for high-volume distributed architecture applications running on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS cost optimization techniques, including Reserved Instances and Spot Instances.
