Warehouse Associate 2

The Warehouse Associate 2 will be responsible for performing tasks associated with shipping, receiving, and material handling at RealTruck. This includes receiving shipments, stocking, inventory control, picking, packing, staging orders, and shipping products using powered industrial trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare product for movement throughout the warehouse, including sorting, scanning, repackaging, palletizing, labeling, and wrapping.
- Operate powered equipment to move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently, once certified.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Assemble component parts into kits, package and label kits, and enter kit data into WMS.
- Pick and pack bulk and drop-ship inventory for shipment according to customer order, stage inventory for shipment, and load trailers.
- Unload trailers, receive product, verify accuracy against PO and packing slip in WMS, and scan palletized product wraps and labels according to customer requirements and load pallets onto trailers.
- Receive returned product, verify warranty status, update WMS, and prepare product for disposal or return to stock.
- Train other employees, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- 6-12 months of related experience and/or training required.
- 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Driver's license preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in the use of a pallet jack and tape gun.
- Basic computer skills.
- Skilled in the operation of a computer with emphasis on WMS and MS Office.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to count and perform basic math.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
