Role Responsibilities
- Collaborating with producers and marketing teams to facilitate the writing of new and renewal accounts.
- Ensuring all policies are properly documented and bound with insurance providers before or on the effective date.
- Managing billing processes for all policies and renewals in a timely manner.
- Reviewing new business and renewal policies against applications and binders for accuracy.
- Maintaining up-to-date client and policy information in accordance with office protocols.
- Engaging with clients to collect outstanding balances as per office procedures.
- Partnering with customer service representatives to ensure all endorsements, audits, cancellations, claims, finance agreements, certificates, and other client requests are processed accurately and promptly.
- Keeping the Property & Casualty license current and enhancing insurance knowledge through continuing education.
Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess an active Property & Casualty license and a minimum of five years of experience in the commercial insurance field, along with the following qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Insurance Agency Management software, particularly Applied software Epic.
- Relevant industry designations such as CIS, ACSR, or CISR are advantageous.
