Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at BMW of Kinston. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance on both customer and dealership vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and execute repair orders as dispatched.
- Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to accurately determine repair needs.
- Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for required repairs.
- Execute high-quality, efficient repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, following BMW Center and Factory standards.
- Conduct Quality Control checks to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for repair services.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, and ensure accountability for both dealership and personal tools.
- Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees to ensure seamless workflow.
- Participate in continuous BMW proprietary training to enhance skills and stay updated on BMW's industry-leading technologies and processes.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Own a valid driver's license.
- At least 5+ years previous of hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent.
- Previous European automotive technician experience a plus.
- ASE certifications a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
