Job Overview

Blaze Credit Union is in search of a skilled Digital Banking Specialist to enhance our team. This role entails researching, maintaining, supporting, and onboarding both Blaze members and staff for all electronic products and services available within our Digital Banking platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
  • Provide advanced technical support to members utilizing digital services, including troubleshooting technical issues and offering setup and navigation training.
  • Assist with the digital onboarding process for new members.
  • Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with members, providing escalated support for all digital products as necessary.
  • Create and update internal documentation for procedures related to new and existing products.
  • Exhibit strong product knowledge and articulate the features and benefits of each service.
  • Identify and assess member needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve online and mobile service issues that impact member satisfaction.
  • Ensure an exceptional member experience in Blaze's digital banking channels by contributing to the vision, direction, development, and execution across the organization.
  • Collect feedback from members and staff to identify opportunities for enhancements and improvements.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal vendors, including incident escalation and resolution in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Recommend improvements based on member feedback, analytical insights, and business understanding.
  • Comply with data protection and privacy regulations, as well as best practices in financial systems security.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in digital product delivery or digital channels, preferably within the financial sector; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Natural problem solver, even in uncertain situations.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Windows, iOS, Android OS, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Technical proficiency in software navigation.
  • Experience with the Alkami Digital Banking Platform is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; courtesy and tact are essential for interacting with members regarding routine matters.
