Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Critical Care Float Pool RN to join our Central Float Pool. This role offers the unique opportunity to work across three critical care environments: Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and adaptable RN, comfortable working in fast-paced, high-acuity settings with varying patient populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the Emergency Department, ICU, and PACU, adapting to the needs of each unit.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients, based on clinical condition and unit-specific protocols.
  • Respond quickly to changes in patient status, utilizing advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in each unit to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities and interventions.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety standards and hospital policies.
  • Serve as a resource to other nurses and staff members, offering guidance and support across the units where you are assigned.
