Service Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Sales and Guest Satisfaction: Lead the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Manage Front of House Operations: Oversee daily operations, manage employees, and ensure compliance with employment policies and restaurant cleanliness standards.
  • Provide Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of Front of House employees, including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  • Manage Liquor Orders and Costs: Control liquor costs, enforce applicable liquor laws, and ensure Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines are followed.
  • Develop Key Employees: Assist in the development of key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees through daily feedback and one-on-one coaching.
  • Recruit and Hire: Review applications, interview, and recommend hiring of Front of House employees.
  • Direct Work and Schedules: Direct work for employees, set hours and weekly schedules, and assign tasks before, during, and after open hours.
  • Create a Fun and Safe Environment: Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive work environment by following core values and operational goals.
