Job Title: Mixologist

Department: Food & Beverage Services

Reports To: Food and Beverage Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Overview: This role involves working at both fixed and mobile bars within the venue and at various events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the organization's policies and relevant regulations.
  • Manage inventory at a stationary bar.
  • Set up and dismantle mobile bar stations.
  • Confirm customer age and identification.
  • Craft and serve a variety of classic cocktails.
  • Utilize a point-of-sale system for transactions.
  • Replace CO2 tanks and beer kegs as needed.
  • Provide drink recommendations based on extensive knowledge of spirits.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Alert management when supplies are running low.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of bartending experience.

Skills and Competencies:

Candidates must possess the ability to mix drinks accurately, communicate effectively with patrons, and manage equipment such as CO2 tanks and kegs. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 80 pounds. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to stand for extended periods and use their hands for various tasks. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. Employees frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
