Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, treatment coordination, and crisis intervention.
  • Create detailed treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Ensure documentation and recordkeeping adhere to company policies and 245G standard guidelines.
  • Oversee caseload management, ensuring continuity of care, appropriate referrals, and collaboration with other professionals.
  • Participate in weekly staffing and supervision meetings.
  • Assist individuals facing challenges related to substance use and dependence.
  • Maintain billable hours to support financial sustainability.
  • Dedicate 25% of the workweek to indirect services, including documentation and treatment team meetings.
  • Uphold a high level of respect for clients.
  • Engage in annual performance evaluations.
  • Complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain licensure.
  • Document completion of 12 hours of training on co-occurring disorders.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and other service providers.
  • Provide community education and public relations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • LADC requirements (ADC-T license allowed with supervision; certain exceptions apply).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications required or ability to obtain within one month of hire.
  • Must have been free from substance use issues for the past two years.
  • Preferred: Over one year of experience in alcohol and drug counseling.
  • Must pass background checks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing various challenges.
  • Completion of 12 hours of Co-Occurring Disorders Training.
