Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, treatment coordination, and crisis intervention.
- Create detailed treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Ensure documentation and recordkeeping comply with company policies and relevant guidelines.
- Oversee caseload management, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate referrals.
- Participate in weekly staffing and supervision meetings.
- Assist individuals facing challenges due to substance use and dependency.
- Maintain billable hours to support financial viability.
- Dedicate 25% of the workweek to indirect services, including documentation and treatment team meetings.
- Uphold a high level of respect and professionalism towards clients.
- Engage in annual performance evaluations.
- Complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain licensure.
- Document completion of 12 hours of training on co-occurring disorders.
- Collaborate with community organizations and other service providers.
- Provide community education and public relations as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Must meet LADC requirements (ADC-T license allowed with supervision).
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications required or must obtain within one month of hire.
- Must be free from substance use issues for the past two years.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in alcohol and drug counseling.
- Successful completion of background checks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing various challenges.
- Completion of 12 hours of Co-Occurring Disorders Training.
