  • Charting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, ensuring compliance with hospital regulations and standards.
  • Admissions, Transfers, and Discharges: Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient use of resources.
  • Supply Management: Manage and maintain inventory of medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Safety and Compliance: Participate in required safety training programs and adhere to hospital exposure control plans, bloodborne and airborne pathogens protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with healthcare teams, promoting a positive and respectful work environment, and contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certifications: EKG Monitor Tech Certificate required, BLS certification required, AB 508 certification required after 90 days of hire.
  • Skills: Medical terminology, general clerical and computer knowledge, and experience in acute setting preferred.
