Position Information:

The Team Leader of the Cardiovascular Testing department will assist the department Manager and Supervisor in coordinating education and daily operations of the lab. This role will support staff to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the performance of procedure-related services.

The Team Leader will be a Registered Sonographer (Cardiac and/or Vascular modalities) and act as a department resource in understanding normal and abnormal Cardiovascular anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology.

This role requires expertise in the use of Ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the Cardiovascular system, in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.

The Team Leader will also understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, values, and management of the division of Cardiovascular Services.


Experience Requirements:
3 Years Clinical-Related Area Required - And 2 Years Leadership Preferred

Education Required:
Graduate Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Or

Cardiac Ultrasound Or

Cardiovascular Sonography Required - And Bachelor's Degree Related Field Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Or Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologist Required - And Basic Life Support And Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Preferred
