  • Lead, motivate, and develop field team members to maintain high morale and ensure effective execution of their responsibilities, reflecting NAR's core values.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback to field team members to maintain clarity in expectations.
  • Ensure the proper use, security, and upkeep of all company equipment during the installation process.
  • Document and track daily performance and project progress through comprehensive field reports, summarizing work completed and addressing any issues.
  • Implement the installation plan established during pre-construction discussions.
  • Receive and inspect all materials delivered to the site, documenting any discrepancies or quality concerns.
  • Assist the finance department with job costing by submitting receipts for project-related expenses.
  • Manage the daily clock-in process for employees and temporary workers.
  • Monitor and record subcontractor hours and performance to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct daily quality assurance checks on all installed materials.
  • Verify that all preparatory procedures and documentation are completed before work commences each day.
  • Facilitate regular construction meetings with the team to discuss performance updates, installation strategies, safety protocols, and project-related information.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures by the field team.

General Duties:

  • Be willing to take on additional responsibilities beyond your specific role to support company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in solar installation.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Desire for ongoing learning and professional growth in the solar sector.
  • OSHA 30 certification is required.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification is preferred.
