Assembly Technician

As a CBRE Maintenance Tech/Driver, you will provide transportation services as requested by the business. This includes loading and delivering materials to multiple client locations. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean vehicle and performing minor repairs as needed. Additionally, you will be required to keep travel logs and service records up to date.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver office furniture to client locations and assemble as needed
- Maintain a clean vehicle and perform minor repairs as needed
- Keep travel logs and service records up to date
- Train and mentor new and current peers on duties and procedures
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors
- Use existing procedures to tackle straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion
- Assist with installation and modification of building furniture systems
- Coordinate furniture deliveries from warehouse to regions
- Track, review, and supervise all inbound and outbound work order and warehouse activity for quality control
- Coordinate and provide freight quotes for furniture to be delivered
- Pull product from warehouse and stage near dock for next day pickup
- Use of pallet jack
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience
- Valid driver's license required
- Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
- Interpersonal skills to exchange straightforward information
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
- DOT Medical card or ability to obtain one
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
